1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Magic Font Calculator ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. License
Free tier: personal and commercial use. Pro tier: grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for use across your projects. White-label use requires Agency license.

3. Payments & No-Refund Policy
All purchases — monthly subscriptions, annual plans, and one-time payments — are final and non-refundable. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

4. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, code, and branding are the property of Felipe Sayao Studio. Generated CSS output belongs to you. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the Service itself.

5. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Felipe Sayao Studio makes no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability
Felipe Sayao Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Changes
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

This page explains which personal data is processed when you use the Magic Font Calculator ("the tool") at magicfontcalculator.com. The calculator itself runs entirely in your browser: the sizes, fonts, colours and text you enter are not sent to us and are not stored by us. The tool does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.

2. Hosting (GitHub Pages)

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the site, your browser automatically transmits technical data to GitHub's servers, in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. GitHub uses this data to deliver the site and to keep it secure. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website). Data may be transferred to the USA; GitHub relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: GitHub Privacy Statement.

3. Google Fonts

The tool's interface fonts and the preview fonts are loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google, which transmits your IP address to Google; a transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in showing typefaces accurately, which is the core function of a typography tool).

4. Font search (Google Fonts Developer API)

To offer the search across all Google Fonts, the tool requests the current font list from Google's Web Fonts API (www.googleapis.com) when the page loads. This request also transmits your IP address to Google. Provider, transfer and legal basis as in section 3.

5. Booking a call (Google Calendar)

The "Let's talk" button links to an appointment booking page provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Nothing is transmitted until you click the button. If you book a call, Google processes the details you enter (such as your name and e-mail address) and we receive them to hold the call. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract at your request). Transfer to Google LLC in the USA is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your message and contact details to answer your enquiry. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or licence, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).

8. Changes

We update this policy when the tool or the services it uses change. The current version is always available here.
